Who we are

Hephaistion develops software at the intersection of craft and analysis. Our name goes back to Hephaestus, the Greek god of the forge — the engineer among the gods, who built ingenious machines with his own hands.

That is the spirit of our work: practical tools that combine 3D geometry, artificial intelligence and quantitative analysis into something you can actually touch — a mosaic you can fabricate and lay, a market trend you can measure.

Our mission

We build focused software that solves one problem well.

On the mosaic side, that means the full pipeline: designing a mosaic parametrically in Blender, deconstructing existing mosaics with AI stone detection, reconstructing them in 3D, and transforming any image into a layout a robot can lay. On the finance side, it means TrendFilter — an algorithmic lens that distills noisy price curves into the few events that matter.
